Projects, passions, and past-times printed by Pinterest.

Pinterest is where more than 250 million people around the world go to get inspiration for their lives. Pinner Stories: Volume One reveals the projects, passions and past-times of the people that use Pinterest. Pinterest affectionately calls these people Pinners.

The stories inside the booklet highlight moments from the epic to the everyday, showcasing how Pinterest helps people create a life they love. The interviews within feature Pinners across the globe, from Mumbai, India to Patterson, Louisiana, and tell tales of haircuts, new businesses, tiny homes and more. They started as an internal email series for Pinterest, but the team soon realized that putting them in print could extend the impact and reach.

Core to Pinterest’s values is “Put Pinners first.” This means making sure their subjects shine in the best way possible in print—through great paper.

Mohawk Via Kraft Vellum (Expressive Collection) was selected for the cover of Pinner Stories because of its humble, honest nature and as an elevated nod to the kraft paper popularized on the platform, used as rustic wrapping paper, table runners, and beyond.

Inside, Mohawk Options Vellum White (Beautiful Collection) captures the diverse and vibrant cast of Pinners in their element, whether they are home-brewing in Edinburgh or eating pie in Atlanta.

There is an old response familiar to master craftspeople when asked how long it might have taken to produce a particular work—“about a few hours and thirty years.” Namely that the ability to make something well is the product of a lifetime of practice and refinement focused on what could be the work of only a few moments.
