Martha Stewart American Made: A Roundup of Mohawk Partners and Friends

Recently we announced an exciting new development to the maker movement that’s sweeping the country – our partnership and support of the Martha Stewart American Made program. We believe in the importance of making and crafting beautiful, unique products, and that’s a part of what American Made is all about.

We’re excited to see that many of our friends and partners are entrants in the American Made program and we encourage you to vote for your favorites – we’ve created a quick guide, and we will be featuring these talented makers in depth over the coming weeks!

Thornwillow Makers

Thornwillow Press are custom printers and publishers of handmade, limited edition books, and makers of engraved writing papers, invitations, and library accessories. At the press in Newburgh, NY, they have consolidated an important collection of historic letterpress, engraving, and bookbinding equipment and their skilled printers and binders support crafts that celebrate the written word. Thornwillow is known for their beautiful design and excellent craftsmanship. You can vote for Thornwillow here in the American Made nominations.

DODOCase Notes
DODOCase and Mohawk recently joined forces to re-envision the relationship between paper and pixels with DODOcase Notes. In addition to these handy notebooks, DODOCase also offers the new DODOcase Folio for the iPad Mini featuring a refillable journal of Mohawk Superfine, and hardcover cases for your iphone, ipad, and other smart electronics. DODOCase makes each product by hand in San Francisco using traditional craft techniques and they continue to find ways to connect tradition and technology. Vote for DODOCase in the American Made program here.
