Where do we start? Our experience at the National Stationery Show in NYC last week was full of beautiful, colorful, letterpressed, printed, illustrated paper – a veritable feast for your design senses. Not only did we have the chance to say hi to friends of Mohawk and admire gorgeous paper goods, we also had the honor of attending – and sponsoring – two very fun paper-related parties during the show. Read below for part one of our round-up – the tradeshow floor and Delphine Press’s 10th Annual Stationery Meetup.
The Tradeshow Floor
Some of our favorites at the show included Smudge Ink, the Ladies of Letterpress area, Felix Doolittle, Rifle Paper Co, Albertine Press, Smock, Pistachio Press, Flywheel Press and Blue Petal Paper Co – see photos of their booths below!
A shoutout to Boxcar Press, Tattly, Minted, Praxium Press, Chronicle Books, Legion Paper, Astro Converters, and Studio on Fire, who we got to visit with at the show. We love bumping into our partners and friends at these events.
Smudge Ink’s booth was giving away new tradeshow logs printed on Strathmore Letterpress!
The Ladies of Letterpress had a double booth this year spanning the aisle.
We loved the whimsical nature of the cards and illustration on display at Felix Doolittle.
We got to hang out with Albertine Press again and see some of their new products.
Eye-catching paper decorations at the Smock booth.
We liked the combination of bright and delicate colors at the Pistachio Press booth.
Amber at Flywheel Press is always good for a positive attitude boost!
10th Annual Stationery Meet Up
After the second night of the show, we were excited to head to the 10th Annual Stationery Meetup hosted by Delphine and Blue Barnhouse. The invitations were printed on Strathmore Pure Cotton Letterpress paper, and complemented the fun party accessories.
Come back later for part 2 of our roundup – The Louie Awards and Paper Party 2014!
