The Art Directors Club of Denver inspired and showcased creativity with its 11th annual Paper Fashion Show. Designers, paper lovers and fashionistas packed a full house as contestants showcased their unique designs made entirely out of paper.

Chris Harrold, Mohawk’s Vice President of Business Development & Creative Director, has been selected to jury the 27th Annual LOUIE Awards. Officially known as the International Greeting Card Awards Competition, the LOUIEs are named after Louis Prang, the German-born lithographer credited with the birth of the U.S. Christmas card in the 1870s.
This artifact from the Strathmore Archive features hand lettering by Oswald Cooper, c 1922. Cooper was an internationally known designer of commercial display and advertising typefaces. At the age of 21, Cooper moved to Chicago and became a student of the great American type designer, Frederic W. Goudy and was a partner in his own Chicago design firm, Bertsch & Cooper, Inc., Typographers.
