“Our challenge in this brochure was to convey that Perennials’ new Out & About rug collection is something special. The collection’s flat-weave rugs resist stains, dirt, UV rays, mold, mildew, and just about anything else you can imagine (They are some of the most practical rugs on the market for indoor or outdoor use). The problem is that most rugs that lay claim to these qualities feel and look like plastic. Out & About rugs look and feel like natural fiber. They are soft to the touch and they stay that way. With this in mind, we needed a paper that could immediately – from the first touch – tell the user that these rugs feel great. We needed a paper that hinted at the pleasant texture and soft hand of the rugs. We needed Mohawk Via in a felt finish. It was the perfect choice.”

“What we didn’t realize is how great the sheet printed. The felt texture on the sheet did not affect the quality of the printing one bit. The ink holdout was outstanding and the whole visual and tactile experience of using this brochure became as special as the rugs themselves.”

The result is a spectacular and sensuous, high-performance brochure for high performance products. The look book has been so successful to date, the company is printing another run.
