To celebrate its 65th anniversary the Type Directors Club recently published Celebrate 65, a portfolio of inspirational work by prominent type designers, graphic designers, letterers, calligraphers and artists.
For the book, 65 graphic artists from 25 countries—including Gail Anderson, Alex Isley, Louise Fili, Milton Glaser and Sumner Stone—were asked to create a numeral between one and 65. The book represents their work along with memoirs from Roger Black, James Montalbano, Paul Shaw, Ilene Strizver, Carol Wahler and Alex W. White. [KR]
