Putting the ‘face’ in Typeface

At least that is how designer Tiago Pinto sees it. Last year Pinto, now working as a designer at G2 Benelux in Amsterdam, had a month of downtime between jobs, but kept his creative juices flowing by playing around with typography. And that’s how The Typefaces Project was born. Pinto creates faces that he believes depict the characters of the font. His collection is now available online as prints, T-shirts and other items.
