Superfine brings richness and depth to product photography.

For over 30 years, Ann Sacks has produced a remarkable breadth of ceramic tile designs. Their vision is to bring customers unsurpassed artistry, craftsmanship, and quality.

CO Projects was tasked with re-imagining, re-branding and re-launching Ann Sacks’ core collection of ceramic art tile. The multi-year re-branding effort culminated in this coffee-table worthy brand book —stunning photography on Mohawk Superfine Smooth Ultrawhite (Beautiful Collection) of interiors around the country, conceptual product imagery, documentary photographs of the Ann Sacks factory, and innovative printing techniques is featured throughout.

This is the third edition of the MADE by ANN SACKS brochure, updated with new product offerings and photography. For this edition of the MADE brochure, CO Projects decided to change the paper stock to signal a new evolution in the line.

An uncoated paper felt like the perfect surface to highlight the tactile, artisan quality of the ceramic tiles depicted in the book, as well as a way to signal to readers that this was an update to previous versions. CO Projects chose Mohawk Superfine because of the richness and depth it brings to the product photography, and for the way it feels in the hand.

Mohawk Superfine inspires great design with its superb formation, lush tactility, archival quality and timeless appeal.  Superfine Smooth is the perfect surface for high fidelity image reproduction while still performing well in finishing. The 130 cover stock featured in this piece allowed for a deep emboss enhancing the tile shape design elements providing crisp, clean edges with the silver foil application.

Each MADE by ANN SACKS collection is meticulously crafted by hand using time-honored techniques, sustainable practices, and the latest in technology to produce a product that reflects passion, ingenuity, and most importantly true handcraft.

The qualities and results that made Superfine respected and exceptional 40-50 years ago are the same traits that make it a trusted choice in digital print today. Designers continue to select Superfine because of its craftsmanship — its reputation for quality, consistency and uniformity, and its tactile elegance, rich heritage and superior performance.
