Communication is about connection—partnering with clients to assess their needs and organizational objectives, finding the unique mix of tools that will create maximum value and response. Through multimedia campaigns, websites, custom publications, or a combination of all three, 2communiqué of Delmar, New York, helps clients tell their story.
“After I met with Jane Monast, Director of Communications at Mohawk, I was inspired to explore an interactive print promotion that connected with existing and prospective clients as the New Year came around,” said Kelly McMurray, creative director at 2communique.
The result is an accordion-folded string of six standard post cards in an open-ended, kraft-paper carrier. The card glued to the carrier is a 2014 spiral calendar. The card at the opposite end of the string has lines on which to write a message, and the cards in between are perfed to encourage people to tear one off and connect with others. Each card is artfully decorated with variations of the company’s red numeral 2.
“We had the piece printed by a local screen printer, Troy Cloth & Paper, and called the piece ‘Made in New York’ to celebrate the creative fields in the Capital Region,” continues McMurray. “The post cards are Mohawk Via Smooth 100% PC Cool White, 120 DTC and the kraft mailer is a French paper that we had in-house. Recycling leftover stock is always a good way to start the New Year.”
