As a member of the millennial age group, much of my design education and training was done on a computer. College meant hours of learning Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. We still had to get our hands dirty with pencils, charcoal and ink, but there was never a need to create a mechanical or use Letraset transfer sheets.
The Museum of Forgotten Art Supplies catalogs those tools of the trade that have moved on to greener pastures, or are novelties for us young guns in the field. Visitors to the site are encouraged to browse collections of submit images of “ghosts of graphic arts past.” [AV]
