“The most distinguishing factor of any font is its characters,” says Matthew Olin, designer at WestmorlandFlint. And characters are what he focused on for his MFA Thesis exhibition entitled Some Type of Hero.

Olin used each font’s unique characteristics to describe its personality, and ultimately translate that into illustrations of our most beloved superheros. Pssst, Matthew, we think these would make great postcards. [KR]
